Chad "Pimp C" Butler studied Classical Music while in high school and also received a Division 1 rating on a tenor solo at a University Interscholastic League choir competition. But when he was given a Run-DMC album he knew he wanted to be a rapper. After releasing TOO HARD TO SWALLOW in 1992, then critically acclaimed SUPER TIGHT and RIDIN DIRTY which went #2 on the Billboard Top R&B/Hip-Hop albums chart, the duo Underground Kingz (UGK), the group Pimp C and his best friend Bernard "Bun B" Freeman formed, were bonified Southern rap legends. Following Pimp C's passing and the posthumous release of THE NAKED SOUL OF SWEET JONES, STILL PIMPING will be a sweet memory of an Underground King. Includes the single, "Grippin on the Wood" featuring Big K.R.I.T. and Bun B.
